ARTIST PROFILE

Intricate patterning and detail, reminiscence of times that have past, and textures that entice the eye and sense of touch are all qualities that make Christy-Anne jewellery so distinct.

The unique style of the work takes reference from past eras, interpreting it in a modern context; resulting in a ‘classic/vintage meets contemporary chic’ style.

Christy-Anne is a South African artist who is inspired by the fusion of culture, people and life in her hometown Durban.

“I am increasingly aware of how our output is affected by the input of our lives; be it people, surroundings, events or memories, and how we respond to them. This, along with my interest in old possessions once valued and now forgotten, is what fuels the imagination of my work”. Christy-Anne
